Over 15 years ago, stepping behind the chair changed my life. I knew I wanted to be an artist since I was young, never did I imagine I would become a passionate craftsman of dimensional blonding, innovative vivids, and curly hair. My name is Lu!  I am a queer identifying female with a passion for creating hair as custom as the individual that sits in my chair.

As a stylist, my goal is to be a good listener as well as fortifying a loving and safe space for my clients. My education started on the East Coast, but I came into my own as an advanced stylist in Seattle under the crafted eye of platform artist, Lisa Power. I have received several awards within the industry for my color work and craft cutting. I have also had the privilege of educating for globally recognized lines such as becoming a master educator for Moroccanoil and a lead educator for Sunlights Balayage.

My passion lies within fabricating seamless lived-in blondes and perfectly sunkissed balayage, but I also have a creative eye for neck breaking vivid colors! In addition to color I am certified in curls of all shapes and densities. I believe in an organic approach to cutting when taking on curls, shags, bobs, and my personal favorite, the mullet. This approach allows me to work with your hair’s natural fall and gives ease to styling on a regular basis.
